Are you behind on rent, or think you may be soon?
Are you a landlord or a tenant looking to work out repayment options?
Here are some resources to consider.
Bellevue Conflict Resolution Center helps people resolve conflicts who live and/or work in Bellevue. Services are free, voluntary and confidential.
Because of COVID-19, tenants may owe unpaid rent and cannot be evicted. The Governor of Washington State has asked conflict resolution centers to help tenants and landlords negotiate overdue bills, making an agreement that can work for everyone.
The City of Issaquah is partnering with the Dispute Resolution Center of King County to provide tenant-landlord conflict resolution services for Issaquah residents and small business owners, including free mediation training to advocates, tenants, or landlords. Interested residents can access them directly. Read more here. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 206 443-9603, ext. 111.
If you are not a resident of Bellevue or Issaquah, contact the Dispute Resolution Center of King County for advice and help. Don’t wait for the problem to get worse – reach out soon.
