On 8/26, EHSF and AEA hosted an event on legislative advocacy and Eastside needs. There were 82 participants who engaged in legislative advocacy training from Corina Yballa and Lianne Kressin from Poverty Action Network. Here is their advocacy training and a helpful tool for planning a meeting with a lawmaker.
The training was followed by insider tips on effective advocacy from Eastside state legislators Representative Tana Senn and Senator Manka Dhingra. Many thanks to all of our presenters for sharing their expertise with us.
